We're striving towards helping those who are among the hardest to employ such as Low-Income Fathers who just can not afford to their child support to get training and find work according to the Workforce Investment Act Initiative and The Work Related Provisions/Policies of TANF, SNAP, Housing Assistance and The States Work Participation Rate as well.
States are permitted to assign recipients to different activities than those that are federally countable, allow them to participate for fewer hours, or exempt them from participation entirely.
However, if a state exempts recipients from participation, or modifies their work requirements, that does not remove them from the WPR. As a result, many states mandate participation in countable activities for all or nearly all recipients.
